VESTAVIA HILLS, ALABAMA
At least two people were killed and another was left in serious condition after a shooting that took place on Thursday evening at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in a suburb of Birmingham. It has been claimed that law enforcement has apprehended a suspect and is holding them in custody.
SOUTHWEST TEXAS COUNTY OF DUNCAN
On Monday, a man opened fire at a gymnasium in the Dallas area where at least 150 children were attending a day camp. The officer who responded to the scene fired and killed the suspect.
CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE
On June 5, a shooting incident took place outside of a restaurant, resulting in the injuries of at least 14 persons and the deaths of at least three. In relation to this occurrence, three people have been taken into custody at this time.
PHILADELPHIA
On June 4, a brawl broke out on a busy street in Philadelphia, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and the injuries of eleven more. There have been other people apprehended in connection with the fight that took place, in addition to the two males who have been held in connection with the murders of two women.
DAYTON, OHIO
On June 1, a jail inmate who was undergoing medical treatment at a hospital fatally shot and killed a security officer, and then the inmate turned the gun on himself in a parking lot and committed suicide.
BUFFALO, NEW YORK
On May 14, a white shooter opened fire on a neighborhood grocery store that was predominantly black, resulting in the deaths of ten individuals and injuries to several others. Should he be found guilty of a federal hate crime, he faces the possibility of the death penalty.
UVALDE, TEXAS
On May 24, an 18-year-old gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary School, resulting in the deaths of 19 children and two adults. This was the worst school shooting in in a decade, and it took place on May 24. In total, fifteen more people were hurt as a result of the attack. Law enforcement officers fired shots, which resulted in the assailant’s death.
