VESTAVIA HILLS, ALABAMA
At least two people were killed and another was left in serious condition after a shooting that took place on Thursday evening at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in a suburb of Birmingham. It has been claimed that law enforcement has apprehended a suspect and is holding them in custody.

On May 14, a white shooter opened fire on a neighborhood grocery store that was predominantly black, resulting in the deaths of ten individuals and injuries to several others. Should he be found guilty of a federal hate crime, he faces the possibility of the death penalty.
UVALDE, TEXAS
On May 24, an 18-year-old gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary School, resulting in the deaths of 19 children and two adults. This was the worst school shooting in in a decade, and it took place on May 24. In total, fifteen more people were hurt as a result of the attack. Law enforcement officers fired shots, which resulted in the assailant’s death.
