In the wake of a gunshot that took place on the Northwest Side of Chicago, the bail request of 19-year-old Tarrion Johnson was denied.
A United States Marshal and his police dog were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Chicago’s Northwest Side when they were shot at by an individual who, according to the authorities, opened fire on them. They were both hurt in the accident.
Tarrion Johnson, 19, allegedly opened fire at 1:20 p.m. on a member of a U.S. Marshals Service fugitive apprehension team and his federal police dog in the 5200 block of West Belmont. This information comes from the Chicago police. According to the officials, Johnson was arrested and taken to jail not too much longer after the incident took place.
When Tarrion appeared in bail court on Saturday, prosecutors reportedly indicated that they had served him with an arrest warrant for a previously attempted murder allegation. This is according to the Chicago Sun-Times, which reported that the statement was made.
