The bear’s attempts to use its jaws or claws to pry open the unlocked car door were unsuccessful since the door closed behind it, pinning the animal inside.
Officials from Tennessee discovered the body of a bear that had reportedly broken into a vehicle the week before.
According to a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Department officer, the bear was caught inside a hot vehicle parked outside of a rental property near Sevierville on Thursday. The official stated on Facebook. The agency is in charge of conserving the natural environments and animal populations of the state.
The owner of the car returned to the cabin at 6:45 p.m., having left the cabin at 10 a.m., to discover a dead bear inside the vehicle.
