6. Clifton’s Cafeteria

Opened back in 1935, this cafeteria served as a way to lift spirits during the great depression. Today it has evolved into an entertainment venue to be reckoned with. It even has a two-story redwood tree growing in the building.

Come for the food and stay for the history. The building is filled with interesting artifacts and unique finds.

7. Ostrich Land

This is a fun and quirky place to visit. You can spend the day touring the farm and feeding the ostriches. Just watch yourself because the birds like to bite even when you’re not feeding them.
