Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has mocked what he describes as bedtime dreams at ruling New Patriotic Party’s newly adopted slogan ‘4 more years for Nana’ indicating that the NPP is found of making fun of itself.
According to him, the Good people of Ghana will decide which party will rule the country after December 7 elections and so the NPP should not perceive they are the preferred choice of the people.
The Director of Election of the NDC was reacting to the preparedness of the opposition NDC to fight tooth and nail against the new voters register on Asempa FM’s Ekosii-Sen poltitcal talk show with host, Omanehe Kwabena Asante.

According to the majority speaker in Parliament, Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu, the NDC has never won an election with a new register; the main reason they oppose any new register EC want to introduce.
“They are doing this because they know they never ever win an election in this country with a new register. So can Ghanaians trust these people? We in the NPP should be careful with them,” the Suame MP said while delivering his address at the annual delegates conference of the NPP at the Trade Fair in Accra.”
However responding to Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah stated that the NDC are not against new voters register because they fear to lose elections but to to reduce overspending by the Electoral Commission.
