The Electoral Commission of Ghana has sacked three of it staff for stealing eight Form IA forms from the District office in the Northern Region.
It came to light some few days ago that a polling agent for one of the political parties has been arrested for having in possession some IA forms.
In a statement, the Electoral Commission indicated that steps are been taken to deal with the polling agent whose name was given as Alhassan Abdulai Mohammed.
It, however, added further that it is taking the needed steps to also sack three of their temporal staff in whose care the various kits were left until eight got missing.
The Electoral Commission has made it intentions known to the public that it will not shield any officer found guilty of any unfortunate incident during this registration process and further encouraged the public to abide by the protocols given out to help fight the novel coronavirus.
